The Very Long Story
Four to twelve year olds became illustrators for the day at our Brisbane Library holiday workshops. Jeff’s story called ‘The Egg That Counted Backwards’ inspired our junior illustrators to come up with some magic stuff. The very long book will be displayed at the Library.

Art Garden - Murrarie State School
The Art Garden at Murrarie State School is a very popular addition to the school. We look forward to extending it and continuing the creativity – naturally.

Art Sports at Einbunpin 2010
The Art Sports event at Einbunpin started with workshops in making and juggling balls and finished with a fun juggling competition.

Glindemann Park Mosaics
Our mosaic artist, Catriona Holland worked with students at the Seville Road State School, Holland Park to make striking text based sculptures that now brighten up Glindemann Park.

Mitchelton Special School Sign Workshop
Hands on Art was asked to design signs for the Mitchelton Special School. A day of drawing workshops with the students, based on letters and textures, supplied the raw materials to make the sign. The students who range in age and ability all have a sense of ownership of their new school sign.

Settlement Day Festival
Dancing, boat painting, snow domes, paper sculptures, streamers, sunshine and the sea. This festival had it all.

Art on the Carpet Brisbane Library
Kids make ingenious assemblages at the Brisbane library workshops

Museum of Brisbane fascinators
In conjunction with the Museum of Brisbane Fashion exhibition Hands on Art helped out with some fashion inspiration of our own.

Einbunpin Festival
Kids and adults all enjoy the mullet tossing at this annual festival in Sandgate.

Einbunpin Festival 2010
Our new Einbunpin creature cutouts were a big hit. People were photographed as Bunpins, Minghee Whingees, and the Mooniewoon tree. Hands on Art also presented the Mullet Tossing, Fish Boat Races, Magic Art Carpet competition and the first Art Sports Community Juggle Off. See you in Sandgate, on the last Sunday in July next year.
